New journal puts wildlife in focus

"… when you understand something, you care about it" ~Yoke Bauer DiGiorgio. Narrowsburg residents John and Yoke Bauer DiGiorgio understand the importance of wildlife education in such a world.

The first issue of their new quarterly publication, The Delaware Valley Wildlife Journal, presents their detailed stories about respectful encounters with wildlife and continuing efforts to preserve the ecology of the Upper Delaware National Scenic and Recreational River. The journals' conception stems from John and Yoke's commitment to raising awareness of the region's diversity of wildlife.

John and Yoke DiGiorgio of Natures' Art LLC accepted the 'Special Recognition Award' for the EagleFest event at the 15th Annual Awards Banquet for the Upper Delaware Council on April 27, 2003.

State of New York Legislation Resolution Commemorating EagleFest
Adopted in Senate on December 17, 2002

State of New York Resolution which was introduced by Senator Bonacic, commemorated the 2nd Annual EagleFest on January 18, 2003, the individuals and organizations within New York State dedicated to environmental protection, and resolved that a copy of Resolution be transmitted to John and Yoke DiGiorgio.
